Description
A large 18ct gold Keyless Lever Minute Repeater Chronograph Full Hunter Pocket Watch C1890 .

Dial: the excellent white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer minute track with five second intervals, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock with Louis XVI style filigree hands blued steel chronograph hand and blued steel seconds hand.

Case: The large 18ct yellow case with a party scene of three cavaliers enjoying the merriment of the time, dancing with girls, one cavalier having a smoke while the band plays in the background. The back of the case is plain. the inner cover has a description of the movement and the medals of Honour that have been won. The cases are all Swiss hallmarked and numbered.

Movement: The Swiss nickel finished movement fully jewelled with compensation balance with fast slow regulation and the chronograph mechanism on the backplate. The movement is numbered and has Swiss written on the backplate together with the Swiss cross stamped on it. The movement chimes the hours, quarters and minutes perfectly.

This watch is an excellent example of a fine Swiss Minute Repeater with an unusual scene of the the three musketeers enjoying their cavalier lifestyle.
