Description |
A stunning men's Royal Oak Offshore Rhone Fusterie in stainless steel by Audemars Piguet. Featuring a distinctive red grande tapisserie dial with 3 subdials displaying a 60 second, 30 minute, 12-hour marker, and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. Complementing the dial is a fixed stainless steel bezel with the iconic 8 screw design which is synonymous with Audemars Piguet.
Fitted with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and powered by a self-winding automatic chronograph movement. The watch is equipped with an original Audemars Piguet red leather strap and a stainless steel folding clasp. The uniquely flamboyant red pays tribute to the Swiss national flag, with only 500 pieces produced to mark the celebration of the new Geneva boutiques opening in 2008, further paying tribute with an engraving of the location hallmarked on the case back. An extremely collectible piece to obtain for one's collection. In excellent condition, the watch comes complete with a presentation box and papers dated 2009. - Founded in 1875 by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, the still family-owned Audemars Piguet has grown to become one of the most highly regarded watch manufacturers in the world. The company pioneered many firsts in the world of horology, including the world's first, minute repeater in 1882, the first skeleton watch in 1934 and, what was then, the world's thinnest wristwatch in 1986. |

Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. 2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
