If you're going to have just one watch, the Breitling Transocean Chronograph 1461 perpetual calendar gives you an entire collection in a single 43mm stainless steel case.

Consider how much feature content Breitling offers in this classically-styled all-purpose men's model. With two of the most useful complications - the chronograph and the perpetual calendar - automatic winding, and a romantic moon phase display, the Breitling Transocean Chronograph 1461 appeals to both left and right brain sensibilities.

The added refinement of classic mid-twentieth century style grants the Transocean Chronograph 1461 versatility that complements any attire. White metal and a "Mercury Silver" dial is combination that pairs well with any clothes and any occasion. Breitling compounds the elegance of the case with a high-contrast dial whose logical layout belies its complexity. The day, date, month, moon phase, chronograph hours, minutes, and seconds join the conventional time of day in a symmetrical display that never overwhelms.

Significantly, Breitling combines polished hours indices and hands with a "Mercury Silver" dial base for optimum visibility in any light. Full luminescent markings permit low and no-light visibility.

Within the 43mm stainless steel case, Breitling employs its automatic caliber 19 4-year calendar with chronograph and moon phase. The 405 parts and 38 jewels of the movement represent a joint effort by ETA and Breitling-owned Kelek of La Chaux de Fonds. The semi-perpetual calendar module was developed by Kelek in the early 1990s and became Breitling's own when the Grenchen-based firm purchased the Francophone complication specialist in 1997. Its efficient bi-directional winding system, 42-hour power reserve, and superb COSC-chronometer certified precision come courtesy of Breitling's powerhouse neighbor, ETA.

Own this versatile, feature-rich, and achingly handsome Breitling Transocean Chronograph 1461 II Semi-Perpetual Calendar with Moonphase in Stainless Steel at an amazingly low price!

Paying homage to tradition, Breitling has created a timepiece whose mechanical complexity represents the culmination of several centuries of watchmaking expertise. The Transocean 1461 Chronograph II Semi-Perpetual Calendar with Moonphase is equipped with a chronograph mechanism and a calendar that indicates the day, date, month, and moon phases.. This sophisticated movement - Breitling Calibre 19B, chronometer-certified by the COSC - needs no adjustment except once each leap year, which means once every 1,461 days. This complicated movement is comprised of around 450 parts and is housed in a stainless steel 43mm case.
