I got the watch at a good price due to it having no box or papers and being an older piece from 2019, unfortunately the bezel spring was faulty and the bezel would not turn under normal strength. The seller offered to rectify this for me but I would have thought the watch had been checked prior to being packed for posting so decided to repair the watch myself, replacing the bezel spring rather than it disapearing for weeks. An average transaction at best really which could have been great had the issue with the watch been rectified before being put up for sale. Maybe this one slipped through the net?It has however also made me wonder if the watch has even been checked for authenticity?

Really very sorry your not 100% happy and able to give us the full 5 stars however we would like to part our side across in the interests of fairness. All customers if not happy (and it happens very rarely) are straight way offered a full refund and you did not want to take this option, secondly we offered to rectify the problem by getting the watch in the workshop sending Fedex out collect from you to avoid any inconvenience to you. We let you know the part was in stock and we could turn around in 4 - 5 days of which you agreed. Since then nothing so assumed you were content. At no point did you express any concern about the authenticity of the watch and if you had then surely you would have taken the refund. Glad you are now happy with the watch, sorry we couldn't help and i think we can mutually agree we wont be doing business with each other in the future. Enjoy the watch and thanks for the custom.

While the watch was sent promptly and well packaged, I as unable to wear it as the bracelet was too small. A spare link was enclosed which would bring the bracelet back to normal size. Why didn’t they fit this? Sending out a watch with the bracelet not the regulation size when the link is at hand isn’t on, sloppy service.

We always strive as you can see from our previous reviews for customer satisfaction and to this point we would gladly take the watch back and refund you in full. We would like to respond to the points raised in the hope it provides a bit of clarity. Shipping - 5 Star - Many thanks Item Description - 3 Star - Very sorry to hear this although we disagree and stand by the watch was exactly as described. all links were present with some in the box, we did try to contact you to get a wrist measurement but this wasn't possible and so sent the watch out as the pictures show. Communication - 3 Star - Again sorry to hear this although, not sure what else could have been done despite an email and call. We welcome and appreciate your feedback however it is our view that the watch was exactly as described with a full set of links when we couldn't get in contact with your regarding the wrist size and did not receive any request to alter the size of the bracelet we sent the watch out as it shows in the pictures.

Excellent and fast communication. Fast postage. Excellent support with regard to resizing the bracelet. Highly courteous and professional attitude. The only issue was a number of minor dints visible on the sapphire crystal upon receipt and one, much more noticeable, scratch. James offered a full refund and return when I raised a query about this which I decided against as I will have the sapphire replaced locally. My advice would be for more accurate listing descriptions (the watch was described as excellent condition with little to no signs of wear - whereas I feel it should have been sold as worn with signs of wear with the scratch noted in the listing). I think this would have made for a more accurate sale and removed an element of disappointment at my end upon receipt of the watch. In all other aspects the watch is in excellent condition and James and Barry were quick to communicate and excellent to deal with. I will certainly use Chase Hatton again albeit checking for a fuller description for any elements of wear and tear up front.

Thank you for the feedback, we certainly try and get feedback from all customers good or bad. We are obviously delighted you award us a 5 for shipping and communication and provide some good feedback regarding how we operate. In relation to the one issue you bring up, we thank you for stating from the outset that a full refund was offered and this is the same with any sale. If for whatever reason a customer does not agree with our description then a full refund is offered. We stick by our description in this case although perhaps should have stated "Excellent condition for the year" as we think the minor marks to the watch are what are to be expected on a watch of such age particularly as we state the watch has all the original parts. The only way we could have rectified any minor scratches to the sapphire would have been to replace the glass therefor not making all parts to the watch original and it is not something we would generally do. I'd like to also place on record our offer to replace the sapphire at cost price and that the images used on the listing were that of the watch that was sold. Form time to time a buyer will disagree with the sellers description on anything Pre-owned and in this case i don't think there is a right or wrong it is about what was offered to resolve the situation and what was the outcome. We think we done all we could to resolve the difference of option and ultimately i think all parties are happy with the outcome.

Delivered what I ordered. Unfortunately the delivery company was incompetent and after not managing to deliver originally kept on missing delivery dates and even briefly losing the package. Seller did everything to resolve the situation so rating is harsh but need to switch delivery firm!
