The look of the watch is very unique and somewhat nonconformist, but that’s what people loved – and still love – about it. We’re not going to pick a single model, but rather just bring your attention to the Hamilton Ventura line as one of the bolder moves in the history of watch design. The good news is that Hamilton still offers Ventura models in their collection. The current watches are fun, iconic, not too pricey, and something true watch fans should enjoy.

Doxa Sub 300T
Anyone who has ever dealt with vintage watches, especially diving watches, will know the name Doxa. They have been one of the leading producers of tool watches for underwater explorers for decades now. The most iconic model that’s ever come out of Doxa is arguably the Sub 300, which was succeeded by the Sub 300T series. Early Sub 300s are very limited in number and hard to find, and therefore, beloved by collectors the world over. So, we’ll focus on the Sub 300T models instead. These watches were made from the 1960s onwards in a number of iterations. Doxa released several dial variations (orange, silver, black, and yellow), and eventually made watches with special logos on their dials. Some of these have become highly-coveted collector’s items (the Aqua Lung pieces, for example). That said, a regular vintage Doxa Sub 300T is just as iconic and interesting. They are relatively easy to get your hands on, and if you’re a true fan of vintage tool watches, you need to have one in your collection.
