Description
“A Creative Adult Is A Child Who Survived” is the message engraved on the rotor of this special 10th Anniversary MB&F, reflecting the artful and groundbreaking nature of Max Busser’s design aesthetic. Similar in concept to the HM5, the HMX is a wedge-style driver’s watch, meant to be easy to read while the wearer’s hands are gripping the wheel and uses a sapphire crystal prism to shift the view of the discs to the side. The innovation of the HMX shows in viewing the engine-like movement through the top crystal. The swooping lines of the case resemble Italian sports cars from the 1960’s and the four dial color variations are a callback to other luxury sports cars: Lotus black, British racing green, Bugatti blue, and this particular watch sports the distinctive Ferrari red, echoed in the perforated calfskin strap. Limited to 20 pieces of each dial variation.
