A Very Rare Stainless Steel Submariner Vintage Gents Wristwatch, original tropical gilt dial with hour markers, a stainless steel bi-directional bezel with a black bezel insert, a stainless steel 'Big Crown' with no crown guard, a stainless steel riveted oyster bracelet with a stainless steel deployant clasp, plastic glass, automatic movement, in excellent condition, comes with a Rolex box, our own certificate of authenticity and our own one year warranty.
N.B. The 6538 Submariner is a very rare timepiece, featuring an original tropical gilt dial, 'Big Crown' and no crown guard. Manufactured between 1954 and 1959, this watch has a special place in history, as it is considered the original 'James Bond/007' Submariner, worn by Sean Connery in several films. This is an incredibly sought after watch, as not many can be found on the market today and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
