The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk is a highly regarded luxury wristwatch model produced by the German watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne. It is known for its distinctive and innovative design, combining a digital time display with a traditional mechanical movement. The Zeitwerk was introduced by A. Lange & Söhne in 2009 and quickly gained attention in the watchmaking industry for its unique approach to timekeeping. Instead of using traditional hands to indicate the time, the watch features a digital display with large numerals for the hours and minutes. The design of the numerals is inspired by the famous five-minute clock in Dresden’s Semper Opera House, paying homage to the brand’s German heritage. The Zeitwerk’s time display is powered by a complex mechanical movement that integrates digital components. It uses a patented jumping numerals mechanism, which causes the hour and minute indications to switch instantaneously at the top of each hour. This creates a captivating visual spectacle as the numerals advance simultaneously. |

After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.

If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.

Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
