In 1928 Jean-Léon Reutter developed the Atmos table clock. This watch draws the mechanical energy to wind the mainspring from the smallest fluctuations in air pressure and temperature. The "Atmos" is still manufactured by the Swiss watch company Jaeger-Le Coultre and is the official state gift of Switzerland.
