Description

This excellently preserved case is a Mark II Speedmaster Professional., it has never been serviced. There are no inside case back markings.
The watch crystal was really bad, so it was discarded, the inner case seals, crystals seals 2 x have been recently installed along with a genuine Omega service crystal for this reference 145.014
The Speedmaster Professional Mk.II shares the very same caliber as it's Moonwatch iteration, the caliber 861, a workhorse caliber with serial number 31 million serial (rest of the serial is blurred online for the end buyer's safety) Please note, this serial is early- and so, it might swing from 1971-73 as Omega serial numbers are mostly indicative serials, the Speedmaster Professional serial numbers usually follow their own set pattern, in some cases they are 2 years apart from the other Omega calibers.
The watch has a amplitude of only 223- 240 degrees at most, so the important bit- yes it needs a service, perhaps critically- yet for some collectors, unserviced, unpolished is a 'thing' so it is being listed for sale for the sum value of it's parts. The case and the dial and hands, and excellent movement caliber 861.
