The Omega Speedmaster stands as an iconic timepiece with a rich heritage and an enduring legacy in the realm of horology. Renowned as the "Moonwatch," the Speedmaster achieved global fame for being the first watch worn on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. This Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch” ref. 310.30.42.50.01.001 was launched in 2021 and features small changes to the iconic model. It comes set in the classic 42mm stainless steel case, featuring a black step-dial covered by a domed Hesalite crystal and is adorned with a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The fixed black bezel features a contrasting silver tachymètre scale (dot over 90) and is fitted on the newly designed steel bracelet and folding clasp. Powered by the updated manual wind Omega Co-Axial calibre 3861 which is protected by a closed commemorative caseback. Originally purchased in July 2021 and in mint condition, coming supplied with its original Omega inner and outer presentation case, instruction manual, pictogram, master chronometer and international warranty cards. 2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.

Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
