Description |
A Very Rare Stainless Steel Nautilus Wristwatch by Patek Philippe. Featuring a black-grey dial with applied hour markers, small seconds, date and moon phase display as well as a power reserve indicator.
Fitted with a sapphire glass, an exhibition caseback and an automatic movement. The watch also comes with a stainless steel bracelet equipped with a concealed stainless steel double deployant clasp. This timepiece is in excellent condition, comes complete with a Patek Philippe box, pusher and Papers dated December 2005. NB: This particular model, the 3712/1A, was only produced for a very short period of time believed to be approximately a year between 2005 and 2006, before Patek released the 5712/1A. It's estimated anywhere from 700 to 900 pieces were made with there being both a 1st series and 2nd series edition. The two series are told apart by the number of red dots present on the power reserve indicator. A 1st series has 3 dots while a 2nd series piece has 4 dots. The photos of the watch show we have a 2nd series, 4 dot piece. - Renowned for elegant styles that ooze luxury, Patek Phillipe watches are considered by experts to be one of the most prestigious timepieces ever made. |

2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
