We are proud to present this stunning Rolex Day-Date 36 President for sale in fine condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.
Originally launched in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date President has remained as the brand’s signature luxury watch. Exclusively crafted in precious metals, few luxury watches come close to the prestige, excellence, and timelessness of the Rolex President. When Rolex introduced the Day-Date, it was the first watch include the day of the week written in full at 12 o’clock along with the date window at 3 o’clock. Another hallmark of the Rolex Day-Date is its bracelet, officially named the ‘President’ bracelet. Characterized by its semi-circular links, the President bracelet is almost as famous as the timepiece itself, not to mention the icons who wore one.
This version the reference 18238 was originally launched in 1988 and was produced until the year 2000. The most noticeable change for this model was the addition of the new calibre 3155 movement which allowed a ‘double quickset’ of the day/date feature, making it even easier to use for the wearer. Coming set in the classic 36mm 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with a matching fluted bezel and screwdown crown for a water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). This watch comes with the rarely seen and highly sought after black pyramid dial with full Roman numeral indexes and matching hands. A flat sapphire crystal protects the dial, with the watch completed by the iconic 18ct yellow gold President bracelet with a concealed folding clasp.
Originally purchased in 1991 and in fine condition due to a few minor marks to the bezel, this Day-Date comes with its original inner and outer box, Oyster booklet, Day-Date booklet, translation booklet, calendar card, leather bound Rolex notebook, Rolex service receipts, original purchase receipts and perforated international warranty certificate.
This watch is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
Chrono24 Buyer Protection offers complete security for your payment. If you purchase from a professional dealer, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 14 days after you receive your watch.
