Description |
We are proud to present this stunning Rolex GMT-Master II for sale in mint condition, fully checked and verified in our in-house accredited workshop.
Originally developed in collaboration with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), the GMT-Master was designed to meet the specific needs of international pilots and frequent travellers. Launched in 1954, the GMT-Master quickly became an icon with its distinctive two-tone bezel, allowing wearers to track multiple time zones simultaneously. The inaugural model, reference 6542, set the stage for a series of evolutions, introducing improvements like the iconic Cyclops lens for enhanced date visibility. Over the years, the GMT-Master has evolved into a symbol of both technical prowess and enduring style, capturing the imagination of adventurers, aviation enthusiasts, and watch connoisseurs alike. Introduced in 2007, this iteration of the GMT-Master II, reference 116710LN, marked a milestone as the first GMT-Master version to incorporate a ceramic bezel insert alongside its Rolesor (Stainless steel / 18ct Yellow gold) counterpart. This timepiece boasts a bi-rotational bezel featuring a black Cerachrom insert adorned with a contrasting silver 24-hour graduation scale. The glossy black dial is equipped with applied Superluminova luminous hour markers and hands, both edged in white gold to prevent tarnishing. The green GMT hand complements the corresponding `GMT-Master II` dial text in green. The date aperture can be found at 3 o’clock, with the dial protected by a sapphire crystal glass complete with cyclops lens for the date to aid in readability. It`s water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft) can be attributed to its screw-down crown and caseback, ensuring its functionality. Its power source is the automatic calibre 3186 chronometer movement, and it is presented on a matching stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with an Oyster safety catch clasp. Originally purchased in the May 2015 and in mint condition, coming supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, seal, swing tag, instruction booklet, guarantee manual, leather warranty holder and international warranty card. This GMT-Master II is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
