Description |
We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date watch for sale in mint condition, fully checked and verified in our in-house accredited workshop.
The Oyster Perpetual Date was first launched in the late 1950s and was one of the first watches to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial, fulfilling Rolex founder, Hans Wilsdorf’s dreams of producing timepieces that were not only beautiful to look at but also highly functional. This model reference 79160 was produced from the late 1990`s until the mid-late 2000’s and is presented in a polished stainless steel 26mm Oyster case with solid lugs and a Twinlock screw-down crown. The bezel is the smooth polished variation with a clean black dial with applied baton indicators with luminous dots, matching hands and the classic date aperture at 3 o`clock. The watch is fitted with a flat sapphire crystal glass with cyclops for the date, and is powered by the automatic calibre 2235 chronometer certified movement. Lastly, this Oyster Perpetual Date comes fitted on the classic stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp. Originally purchased in February 2005 and in mint condition for its age, coming supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, seal, Oyster Perpetual Date booklet, translation booklet, calendar card, leather warranty holder, service booklet, Rolex service card and perforated original Rolex warranty paperwork. This ladies Rolex Date is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. We do not use library pictures. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
