Rolex Submariner Date 124060 41MM Box and Papers 2022
This is a brand new Rolex Submariner 41mm reference 124060 with box and papers from 2022. This watch comes as a full set with everything from new and is under Rolex warranty till 2027. The biggest design difference is the lugs, which are slimmer on the new generation of Rolex Submariners. This gives the watch a slightly more proportional look, but given that Rolex increased the diameter of the case by around 1mm, the new Submariner with the narrower lugs actually wears almost identically to the older Submariner with the wider lugs. Rolex says that the old Submariner is rated to be 40mm-wide, while the new 2020 Submariner models are 41mm-wide. For 2020, the Submariner models receive either the in-house-made Rolex caliber 3230 (no date) or, as seen here, the caliber 3235 (with the date). The movements are a bit more accurate and stable as compared to the 3135 movements of the old-generation watches, but notably offer an additional day of power reserve bringing up total movement running time to about 70 hours. The Rolex Submariner 126610LN rocks the sporty three-link solid stainless steel Oyster bracelet as always. Because of the change in the size of the case, the bracelet had to be slightly updated. It is now 1mm wider, so it is 21mm in width. This applies to the entire length of the bracelet, as well as the clasp. Rolex also refined the bracelet, tightening up tolerances. The new Oyster bracelet has no visible gaps between the links. As always, the bracelet’s end links are brush-finished and the center links are high polish, creating a beautiful contrast between the centerline and the flanks. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
According to our definition of authenticity, we consider a watch to be authentic if it is either in its original condition (as it was when it left the manufacturer) or contains a maximum of two service parts that do not originate from the manufacturer and do not contain a trademark. Permissible service parts include the crown, bezel, hands, or push-pieces. These will be noted during the certification process and listed under "Notes" on the certificate of authenticity. Customized or modified watches as well as fake or counterfeit watches cannot be certified.
More detailed information can be found in our info sheet: "Chrono24 Definition of Authenticity," which you can find on our Certified website.
If you booked Certified as an add-on, our in-house watchmakers will carry out a thorough check. If they notice the condition of the watch differs from the information in the listing (e.g., additional scratches) or that key replacement parts without a brand name or logo are present (e.g., different bracelet or hands), they will reach out to you.
You typically have three options of how to proceed:
You accept the results of the certification and decide to proceed with buying the watch. In this case, your watch should be ready for dispatch and shipped to you within 1–3 business days.
You decide to withdraw from the purchase due to the discrepancies found. In this case, we'll ship the watch back to the seller and refund you your payment from our escrow account.
At your request, we can contact the seller and suggest adjusting the purchase price. If you agree to a lower price, we'll send you a partial refund from our escrow account after the watch has been delivered.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
