Tag Heuer 2000 Professional - Ref WG 1313-0 in stainless steel with quartz movt
Good condition, Tag Heuer 2000 with reference 1313-0 with round gray dial and arrow and batons for each hour. At 6 o’clock comes “Professional 200 Meters”. It is a “T Swiss Made T” model. The date window is at 3 o’clock. Hands are in stainless steel with baton and Mercedes styles. The watch has a unidirectional steel bezel graduated up to 50. It is a screwed crown with the Tag Heuer logo. It is a screw back case with engraved outside “Tag Heuer – Suisse since 1860 – WG 1313-0 – Swiss made – Stainless steel – Water resistant - 200 meters tested – D44213”. The watch has a quartz movement. It comes with a stainless-steel bracelet and Tag Heuer double clasp buckle. The width between lugs is 15mm and the length of the bracelet is 6.5 inches. The watch comes with the Tourneau purchase invoice. The company was founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860 in opening a watch comptoir (dealership) in Saint Imier. In 1864, he moves to Bienne with a signed “E Heuer & Compagnie”. 1869, he applied for a patent for an “Independent crown-winding system”. In 1880, he is the first watch producer to start on the series production of chronographs. In 1910 Heuer creates the “doctor’s chronograph with pulsometer. In 1916 Heuer register a patent for the “Microsplit”. 1930, Heuer patented the design of waterproof case. 1949 comes the “Solunar” and the magic “Carrera” in 1963. 1964, Heuer merged with Leonidas S.A. Since 1999, the company is owned by the LVMH Group. In 2006, the “Carrera 360” took up the mantle of the “Microsplit”, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second.
