Description |
We are proud to present this stylish IWC Pilot`s Chronograph Watch 41mm for sale in mint condition.
The Pilots series of watches were designed in accordance with military specifications and nowadays have reached a cult status that few wristwatches attain. IWC’s first proper purpose-built pilots watch was produced in 1936 and followed up nearly a decade later with the MOD commissioned Mark X (the official start of the Mark series). The watch adhered to specific military requirements in terms of robustness and dial layout. That simplistic, legible layout has become a staple of the entire range subsequently and is what has ensured the longevity of the whole collection by appealing to many aviation/military enthusiasts. This version the reference IW388103 comes in in an ergonomic brushed 41mm stainless steel case with a smooth polished bezel. The dial is a clean green sunburst with large luminous contrasting Arabic numerals and dagger hands. The dial is finished off with a legible white day/date aperture at 3 o’clock and triple chronograph sub-dials at 12/6/9, all of which protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by the automatic IWC calibre 69385 movement which can be viewed through the exhibition caseback. The watch is completed by an EASX-Change dark brown leather strap with pin buckle clasp. Originally purchased in November 2021 and in mint condition, this IWC comes with its original inner and outer boxes, cleaning cloth, instruction booklet, EASX-Change booklet, guarantee booklet, original receipt and international warranty card. This Pilots Chronograph benefits from coverage of it`s IWC extended warranty until November 2030. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. We do not use library pictures. |

Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
