Description |
We are proud to present this classic Rolex Datejust 36 for sale in mint condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.
The Rolex Datejust stands as an enduring icon in the realm of luxury timepieces, renowned for its timeless design, precision engineering, and a legacy that spans over seven decades. First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. Today, the Rolex Datejust continues to epitomize elegance and functionality, embodying the perfect union of form and function. This iteration of the famed Datejust, reference 116234, comes set in a polished 36mm stainless steel Oyster case fitted with a luxurious 18ct white gold fluted bezel. The silver / grey sector dial features applied baton indicators, matching hands and a roulette date feature at 3 o’clock. These details are safeguarded by a sapphire crystal glass with cyclops lens for the date to enhance visibility. The timepiece is equipped with a Twinlock screw-down crown and a screw-down caseback, ensuring the 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance. Powering this Datejust is the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement, renowned for its accuracy and reliability. Completing the ensemble is the iconic stainless steel Jubilee bracelet, showcasing both satin and polished finishes, secured with the classic concealed crown clasp. A 2008 model, M serial, in mint condition, the watch comes supplied with its original inner and outer box, swing tag, seal, instruction booklet, leather card holder and undated international warranty card. This Datejust is sold with our SWC 12-month warranty. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. We do not use library pictures. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
