Description |
We are proud to present this very desirable Rolex GMT-Master II watch for sale in mint condition for its age, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.
Since its inception in 1954 the Rolex GMT-Master has been the master of the skies and has adorned the wrists of pilots, astronauts and aviation enthusiasts ever since. Originally designed in collaboration with Pan Am Airways, the Rolex GMT-Master was initially created for Pan AM and issued by them to their pilots and crews on long-haul flights. The key feature of the watch was that it allowed the wearer to simultaneously reference two different time zones with its unique 24 hour bi-rotational bezel. This reference, the 16753 was first introduced in the 1980`s and was one of the last versions of the GMT-Master II to have a non-ceramic bezel. It comes set in a 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with 18ct yellow gold bi-directional bezel with black 24hr bezel insert. The black dial features applied tritium hour indexes and hands (indicated by `Swiss - T andlt; 25` print at the bottom of the dial), both edged in matching yellow gold to prevent tarnishing. The second time-zone hand is also gold with the dial is finished off with the classic date feature at 3 o’clock and protected by an acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by the automatic 3075 chronometer movement and comes fitted on a matching Rolesor (stainless steel / 18ct yellow gold) Jubilee link bracelet with the classic folding clasp. Originally produced in 1986 and in mint condition for its age, this GMT-Master II comes with its original inner and outer box (outer box worn/damaged), GMT bezel booklet, factory service booklet, calendar card, swing tag, Oyster booklet and its original perforated warranty paperwork. This GMT-Master II is sold with our 12-month warranty and would be an incredible piece for any Rolex enthusiast. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. We do not use library pictures. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
