The solid three-body 41mm. diameter case is polished and brushed with a screwed-down case back and Triplock winding crown protected by a crown guard. The graduated unidirectional revolving bezel is black ceramic with Arabic numerals for the decompression times. It has a royal blue dial with a luminescent yellow gold dot, baton, and arrow hour index markers, luminous yellow gold skeleton hands, minute and second outer track divisions, and a sapphire scratch-resistant crystal with a Cyclops lens for the date aperture at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 330 meters (1,000 feet) and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Rolex Submariner 126618LN has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3235 (based on the Rolex caliber 3255) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, a "Chronergy" lever escapement that optimizes energy efficiency; it's made of nickel-phosphorus, and it's insensitive to magnetic interference. It has bidirectional self-winding through the perpetual rotor, a Parachrom blue balance spring with an overcoil, and an anti-magnetic oscillator system. The Chronergy escape wheel is skeletonized to reduce any energy loss due to inertia. It has a free-sprung adjustable mass balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
