Description |
We are proud to present this stylish Tudor Black Bay for sale in fine condition.
First introduced in 2012, the Black Bay won the Revival Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie in Geneva the following year and has become an iconic collection for the brand. Tudor followed up on this releasing even more Black Bay variants into the market, including but not limited to the Black Bay Chrono, the Black Bay Bronze for lovers of patina and the Black Bay Dark for those who prefer an all-black case and bracelet. This version the reference 79220B was produced from 2012 until 2016 and comes set in a brushed/polished 41mm stainless steel round case fitted with a gorgeous blue uni-rotational bezel with silver coloured text. The black maxi dial features luminous dot hour markers and matching ‘snowflake’ hand set, all of which protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by the infamous workhorse ETA Calibre 2824 automatic mechanism and comes fitted on a blue leather strap with a folding deployment clasp complete with safety catch. This watch also comes with two additional used Tudor nylon straps. Originally purchased in February 2015 and in fine condition with a few small marks on the bezel insert, this Tudor comes complete with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, leather card holder and international warranty card. This model is now discontinued and is becoming very collectable. Please contact us for shipping costs to the E.U. All images are of the actual watch for sale. We do not use library pictures. |

Do you have any questions?
Certified watches can be identified by the green "C" icon in the search results and in the listing. You can also filter search results to only view Certified watches. On the listing page, you can see whether Certified is already included or whether it's an optional add-on to your purchase. See also: What's the difference between Certified Included and Certified Optional?
2. Certification by verified watchmakers
Before you receive your watch, it will be checked and certified by a verified watchmaker. Among other things, the watchmaker checks whether your watch matches the listing information and whether it complies with our definition of authenticity.
3. Receive your watch and digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a certificate of authenticity, which you can access digitally after receiving your watch.
If you purchase from a private seller, we will hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you receive your watch. Please note, however, that private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
Certified is our new certification service whereby verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches to provide customers on our marketplace with a worry-free buying experience. After successful certification, you'll receive a digital certificate of authenticity that confirms the watch meets our definition of authenticity and matches the information in the listing. Certified watches come with a three-year authenticity guarantee. See also: How is the watch checked?
If you've selected a watch with Certified as an optional add-on, you can book certification for an additional charge of £249. In this case, the watch will be checked by one of our in-house watchmakers before being shipped to you. See also: What's included in Certified Optional?
If you book certification for a watch that is not already certified, you pay the purchase price of the watch plus an additional £249 for certification. We will only issue an invoice for the certification if you expressly request one.
The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: We check both the exterior and interior of the watch against our definition of authenticity. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Condition check: We check whether the condition of the watch matches the information in the listing, including the complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See also: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, e.g., original box and papers, are checked for completeness and accordance with the model reference.
Stolen watch check: We check whether the watch's serial number is listed in the leading stolen watches databases. This ensures that there are no thefts reported for the serial number.
Private sellers are not legally mandated to accept returns.
